Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of quantity measurements and supporting the progress payment process submitted by Business Partners (Contractors) in the IFMS Infrastructure project. The Quantity Surveyor plays a key role in validating work volumes, supporting cost estimation activities, and verifying invoices to ensure alignment with contract terms, project specifications, and actual progress in the field.
Prepare and calculate work quantities based on technical drawings, specifications, and actual field progress.
Provide quantity data as a key input for the Project Estimator in budget preparation and tender evaluation.
Update and revise quantity calculations periodically in line with design changes or actual work progress.
Evaluate and verify invoices submitted by business partners to ensure alignment with physical progress, work quantities, and contractual terms.
Maintain proper documentation of all quantity data and progress records for accountability and audit purposes.
Coordinate with site teams, cost control, and the Project Estimator to ensure smooth administrative processing of payments.
Provide reports or recommendations related to work quantities and invoice status to project stakeholders.
Perform other duties related to quantity and billing as assigned by the Project Estimator or direct supervisor.

What skills and experience do you need?
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or any related technical discipline
Have 4 years’ experience working in Quantity Surveyor in large-scale mine infrastructure projects experience is required; Have EPC/ Construction and Mining industry experiences is preferred.
MS. Office Excel, Word, Basic quantity Estimation, Documentation
Has ability to calculate the area (m²) of building work such as bricklaying, plastering, ceramic tiling, and roofing; calculate the volume (m³) of structural and surface works including concrete, floor screed, and earth filling; calculate the volume (kg) of reinforcement, aluminium, and steel profile works; measure, compare, and evaluate completed vs. remaining work volume for survey and scheduling purposes; calculate and estimate the material requirements for each construction activity; to check and verify actual material usage against estimated quantities to ensure accuracy and efficiency; to interpret new shop drawings, identify changes, and recalculate work volume or determine adjustments in quantities; to assist the cost estimator by providing detailed quantity calculations during project tender and execution phases.
