About the Role
We're looking for an Accounting manager, who will own the accuracy of the company's books and the analysis that management and other divisions use for decisions. You will lead the monthly close, produce the financial statements, handle tax, and explain what the numbers say and what needs to be fixed.
What you will do
Close, ledger and tax
Close the books monthly and generate the financial statements (P/L and balance sheet)
Oversee the general ledger: every transaction posted and mapped to the right account, with reconciliations and adjusting journals
Handle tax: calculate, report and file VAT, withholding tax and corporate tax
Inventory and assets
Manage inventory accounting: costing, monthly stock taking, and write-downs for damaged or obsolete goods
Manage fixed and intangible assets, depreciation and asset valuation per PSAK and Indonesian tax regulation
Analysis and reporting
Analyze historical reports (spending by category, trends, margins, receivables, payables and inventory ageing), and flag where money is going and what needs fixing
Report accounting ratios, support audits, and lead the Accounting team
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 7 years in accounting
Strong knowledge of PSAK and Indonesian tax, including depreciation and amortization rules
Experience with inventory costing, NRV and stock taking
Financial statement analysis, and the ability to explain findings to non-accountants
Experience with an ERP or accounting system, and advanced Excel
Ability to use AI tools well: writing good prompts to speed up work, and judging the output critically
Fluent English
Nice to have
Public accounting or audit background
Experience in a multi-branch company with hardware and service revenue
Experience supporting due diligence or M&A
Professional certification (CPA, Brevet or similar)
