Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Design, implement, maintain, and manage scalable, highly available (HA), and reliable database systems.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal database availability, security, and integrity.
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to ensure efficient database performance.
Perform database design, including indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
Manage relational and non-relational databases across on-premises and cloud environments.
Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data availability and business continuity.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and other IT teams to support application requirements and ensure database reliability.
Identify and resolve complex database-related issues and recommend improvements to database architecture and performance.
Stay up to date with the latest database technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Persyaratan Khusus

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Database Engineer or in a related role.
Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and highly available (HA) database systems.
Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DB2, as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of in-memory databases, particularly Redis.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
Strong SQL skills, including the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize queries for performance and efficiency.
Good understanding of database design principles, including indexing, partitioning, and database normalization.
Experience with cloud database technologies and services, such as AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, and Azure Database.
Familiarity with database management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), HeidiSQL, Oracle SQL Developer, SQLyog, and Redis Insight.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to learn independently and keep up with emerging technologies and industry developments.
Relevant database certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Database Engineer, AWS Certified Database certifications, or other related certifications, are an advantage.
