Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Some of your duties will include: 


  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, overhead, and contingencies.
  • Collaborate with project Superintendent to establish project budgets based on the cost estimates, ensuring alignment with project objectives and financial constraints.
  • Gather, validate, and analyze data from various sources, such as suppliers, subcontractors, historical project data, and market research, to inform cost estimates.
  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may affect project costs and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle and provide regular updates and recommendations for cost control measures.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost reports, including detailed breakdowns, assumptions, methodologies, and any changes in project cost estimates.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and contractors to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
  • Compare project cost estimates against industry standards and competitors to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Evaluate and process change orders, assessing their impact on project costs and timelines.


Persyaratan Khusus

What skills and experience do you need?


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or Business. Advanced degrees or certifications in cost estimation or related fields can be advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation, particularly within the project management or construction industry, project management, engineering, or construction is often preferred.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in Ms Project, Ms Office, and Desktop Publishing Package; proficient in Resources Analysis; proficient in Cost Control utilizing software such as SAP or other ERP will be additional advantage
  • Possess leadership traits and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously;
  • Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals;
  • A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate.
