Some of your duties will include:
• Responsible for collecting samples from the concentrate plant and shipping, preparing geological samples, concentrate plant, shipping, and moisture test equipment.
• Adhering to established methods, procedures, and instructions.
• Developing test methods.
• Participating in the process in accordance with the validation plan with the authorization of the laboratory supervisor or head of the laboratory.
• Responsible for training junior assistant technicians
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum Diploma/Vocational High School in Chemistry and work experience in a Chemical Laboratory/Mineral Mining industry as a Chemical Lab Analyst.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position as a Preparation & Sample Technician in a Chemical Laboratory/Mineral Mining company.
• Knowledge of mineral mining technology (copper, gold) and mining laboratories.
• Willing to work shifts (day/night) and according to a work roster.
• Willing to be placed in a project area where the company operates, with local recruitment.
