Board Game Class is a provider of Strategic Board Game extracurricular activities that has partnered with national and international schools in Jakarta for more than 7 years. We help students develop critical thinking, collaboration, leadership, and social-emotional skills through fun, screen-free board games.
About the Role
As a Board Game Instructor, you will facilitate weekly board game sessions for students from kindergarten to senior high school at our partner schools. Your responsibilities:
Explain game rules and guide students as they play
Manage the class in a calm and positive way
Help students reflect on what they learned from each game
Learn new board games and adapt the rules for younger students
Document activities through photos and videos
Prepare session reports and student progress reports
Qualifications
Current university student or S1 (bachelors) graduate, preferably in education or a related field
Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
Have experiences in learning and teaching board games
Quick to learn and understand the rules of various board games
Strong communication skills and confident speaking in front of groups of students
Able to manage a class calmly, positively, and responsibly
Willing to attend board game and teaching-method training provided by Board Game Class
Experience as a teacher, facilitator, mentor, or student activity coach is a plus

Pay range IDR 80.000-100.000 per session
Schedule
Work 2 or 3 days per week
1 or 2 sessions per day
Sessions are held at partner schools in the Pluit, PIK, Cengkareng, Bekasi, Gading Serpong, Karawaci, BSD areas [afternoons after school]
Days and number of sessions are arranged based on your availability
